At Candle & Soak, we take “fragrance-free” seriously — and we know that many of our customers do too. Whether you live with allergies, sensitivities, migraines, or simply prefer to avoid added scent, we believe you deserve products that are clearly and honestly labeled.
That’s why we’ve created this fragrance-free policy — so you know exactly what we mean when we say fragrance-free.

What “Fragrance-Free” Means to Us
When we say fragrance-free, we mean:
No added fragrance of any kind
We do not add perfumes, essential oils, fragrance blends, or masking agents to any of our products — not even “natural” ones.
No masking agents or neutralizers
Some companies use fragrance ingredients to cancel out the smell of other ingredients. We don’t do that. We believe in transparency over tricks.
No scent added — ever.
If a product has a scent, it’s from the ingredients themselves — not because we’ve added anything to make it smell a certain way.

But Wait — Will It Still Smell Like Something?
Possibly, yes — and here’s why:
Many of the natural ingredients we use — like coconut butter, oats, argan oil, rose petals, or shea butter — have their own faint, natural aroma. These are not added for fragrance. They're part of what makes our products gentle, nourishing, and real.
We don’t suppress those aromas. We don’t hide them. We simply don’t add anything extra to enhance, mask, or modify them.

Why It Matters
We know that “fragrance-free” doesn’t always mean the same thing across different brands. Some use the term even when fragrance ingredients are present — if they’re used to cancel scent rather than add it. Others rely on essential oils and call them “natural” fragrances.
At Candle & Soak, we go further. Our promise is that we will:
Always clearly label our ingredients
Always exclude fragrance additives
Always honour the scent of real ingredients, and never try to cover it up

How to Identify Our Products
We keep it simple:
All Candle & Soak products are fragrance-free — no added scent, ever.
Some products may have a mild, natural aroma based on their ingredients (e.g. coconut butter or rose petals).
Any exceptions or special collections with naturally aromatic ingredients (like dried citrus) will be clearly labeled as part of our Naturally Aromatic Collection. Check the Fragrance-Free Classification at the bpottom of each product description for detailed information.
